Adventures in Mallomars

Graham crackers lead to marshmallow.  Marshmallow leads to chocolate coating.  Chocolate coating leads to...suffering.  Yes, dear friends, I returned, yet again, the second day in a row, to Bouchon Bakery.  I was picking up a pair of trousers I was having altered and I thought why not try again for a Mallomar.  Well, I was met with disappointment, yet again.  In my chronicles yesterday, I failed to mention that, in order to console myself, I purchased a "better nutter," two peanut butter cookies glued together with a luscious peanut cream.  The cream is supple and heavenly.  It's a fine treat but certainly no Mallomar.  Today I had an oatmeal raisin cookie which was good but not noteworthy.  I asked again if they will ever have Mallomar treats, and I was told they would, but frankly I don't think any of those sons of bitches knows what they're talking about.  The saga continues.
