Mrs. Doubtfire is the most messed up film in all of history. Messed up because it purports to be "wholesome" family entertainment; messed up because Robin Williams is made out to be a good dad, a hero of sorts; messed up because many children saw this film and thought that what took place was funny and noble. What the Robin Williams character does in this movie is sick, selfish and morally twisted.
Anyway, I'm just very distressed about this and have spent the past hour reanalyzing my entire emotional structure. One thing is clear: Mrs. Doubtfire has had a terrible impact on my psyche, the ripples of which will be felt for years to come.
