The Continuing GAP Saga

The NY Observer has an article on their website about The Gap. The writer claims that the 'Gap is back.' I recommend you take a look. The article is singularly focused on female clothing, however, and I felt like I had no choice but to post a comment concerning the male side of things.

Here is what I wrote:

This is a nice post, but certainly not very relevant to the male readers. I'm happy for women that they have a pleasant, relatively inexpensive option. But when it comes to guy clothing, I personally have been disappointed with the Gap as of late, particularly their pant selection. The cuts leave quite a bit to be desired. Also, I often find it difficult - if not impossible - to find the size I am looking for. I wear 34-32 pants, which is a very common size. It is my belief that a decent clothing store should never be out of stock for items of this particular size, as well as many others. If they don't have 28x36 - ok, fine. But no 34x32!?

I had to give my contact information and I am very surprised I haven't heard back from anyone at The Observer. I was expecting to be offered a staff position as Pants Writer. Oh well, I'm sure they're just trying to figure out how much money to offer me (100k a year? 200? 300?)
