Apparently Starbucks is closing its stores (at least in New York City) for 3 hours today for an employee training program. This is what the chief executive said concerning the closing:
We believe that this is a bold demonstration of our commitment to our core and a reaffirmation of our coffee leadership.
Bold demonstration? Coffee leadership? I hate how press releases and stuff are like this and use these ridiculous phrases.
