Higher Education in Trouble

Institutions of higher learning are not immune from the economic downturn, blah blah blah.

To me, this seems like as good a time as any to basically end higher education as we know it. English majors? Goodbye. Schools of international affairs? Um, goodbye. Ph.D.'s in pre-historical Chinese women's studies? Yes, goodbye to you, as well.

Actually, I think we should say goodbye to basically every academic department and school, because they're all boring and pretentious.

Instead, post-secondary education should include the following...

1) How to build a nice house on the beach.

2) How to build a wood-fired oven so you can cook pizza and other things in it.

3) How to make movies with your digital camera about Snuggles.

4) Open to suggestions...
