Yesterday I had gone to Shake Shack to have their pumpkin pie custard, which was creamy and dreamy. Was it me, or did it taste a bit richer than last year's yield? Regardless, it was a most wondrous cream.
Today I headed to Trader Joe's after learning that they carry a pumpkin ice cream. I figured it would be pleasant, at the very least. However, upon arriving home and sampling it, I learned it's the finest store-bought ice cream ever created. Further, it's as good as the pumpkin custard at Shake Shack.
Trader Joe's, thank you for being my best friend; thank you for having such a supple, delightful cream.
