I must report that last Friday, October 21 2011, I failed to obtain a Pumpkin Pie custard from Shake Shake. I have no one to blame but myself. I could have had one if I really wanted it, but I was lazy. Granted, I've had a large amount of actual pumpkin pie over the past week, including one which I ordered from an Upper East Side bakery called Two Little Red Hens (it was scrumptious). This week it will take an act of god to prevent me from having a Pumpkin Pie custard at Shake Shack, though, and as I don't believe there is a god, I'm pretty sure I'm going to have one.
