Today, at around 2:30pm, I decided I wanted a can of Coca Cola Classic. I walked out to the vending machines and went to the Coca Cola "area." On the right is a can machine, and on the left is a bottle machine. I myself, I enjoy cans, so I put a dollar into the machine on the right, the machine that dispenses cans of refreshing Coke products, and pressed the Coca Cola button. Then, to my surprise, I heard noises emanating from the bottle machine on the left, noises of movement and metal banging against metal, and then a can of Coca Cola dropped into the retrieval area of the adjacent bottle machine. I don't understand how I put a dollar into one machine and pressed a button, and then the item I selected came out of another machine.
