Wednesday's topic: Sherman's campaign in Georgia. Good old William T. is considered by many historians to be one of the great geniuses of the war, and perhaps did more to advance military tactics than almost any other figure at the time.
If this were not exciting enough and more than sufficient cause to attend, the Civil War Round Table of New York has this photograph on its website...

I just urinated in my pants, that's how excited I am.

Haha. I foresee a great deal more urination in your future.
What kind of pants does one wear to this particular gentlemen's club? And will they let you stay in the club if you have urine stains on said pants?
And on a related pant stain issue: Do you know the quote from Dostoyevsky's Notes from the Underground where the guy says that he had a foreboding that the stain on his pants would rob him of nine-tenths of his personal dignity? And would you do a post on pants stains?
Joe Dude, you have already been proven correct.
Sami, in general you would wear plaid, wool trousers. They will definitely let you stay in the club if you urinate or have prior stains; otherwise, easily 90% of the membership would have to be dismissed.
I am not familiar with that quote but Dostoyevsky was ahead of his time, so I'm not surprised.
