Happy Passover

As I think I've mentioned before on this blog, I am unfortunately Jewish. Don't worry - the only thing I do to practice my Judaism is to go to the movies and eat Chinese on Christmas.

Well, maybe that's not the only thing. A few years ago I started eating a sandwich on the first night of Passover, in place of going to one of those insufferable seders. I think last year I decided I would specifically get a falafel sandwich on the first night.

Anyway, last night I had a falafel sandwich from Maoz, the falafel chain that first started in Amsterdam back in 1991. Now they have stores all over the world, including here in New York.

There's a wonderful salad bar that has a variety of pickled vegetables and sauces

Here is my sandwich. You can't see the actual falafel because it is covered by various toppings. Also, I got an order of french fries, which were very good.
