I have a 'Joy of Cooking' desk calender that was given to me by a colleague. For April 10, there is a list of greens one can use for salads. One of these is 'Butterhead Lettuces.' I found this to be very funny.

As you can see, one of the substitutions is clearly 'Butterhead Lettuces.'
For some reason I immediately thought of a fun little creature who has a stick of butter as a head. He just walks around and says things like, "hey, my stomach hurts," or "hey guys, mind if I tag along?"
"Hi, I'm Butterhead Lettuces - is it all right if I join you?"
