Went to SuperTaco last night, the taco truck that parks itself at 96th Street right by Broadway. I live very close and sometimes go there for a taco. The tacos are good. Are they great? Hm. Perhaps not. But very good, I would say.

Anyway, last night they put a big slice of tomato in the taco, which is new for them. There was also lettuce. These things are fine but not necessary. A taco only needs two soft corn tortillas, meat, onions, cilantro, and then various sauces (for instance red sauce, green sauce, etc
Now, I must say, Peeter Meehan, the NY Times $25 & Under guy, beat me to this review. He reviewed SuperTaco back in May. Fine, whatever.
BUT...when I checked the NY Times Dining Section today (the Dining Section appears in Wednesday's paper) I noticed that Meehan had another taco review, this time concerning a certain stretch in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. It's filled with tacquerias and Meehan reviewed a few of them.
Well, guess what? I reviewed that same stretch in Sunset Park back in April. Ha. Take that Meehan. Ok, so in all fairness, it's a tie. But it's only a matter of time before I take over Meehan's job at the Times and begin my domination in both food and pants.
