Stews of Wondrous Happiness

Tomorrow I am going to make a stew.

Why am I going to make a stew? Because I can. And because stew is good. And because other things, as well.

There are different types of stews one can make. Stews of yore - yeomen stews - stews of thick and rich gravies and sauces and emotions. Medieval stews, if you will.

The stew I'm going to make tomorrow will certainly be thick with sauces and supple feelings, but it will be no Medieval stew. I will make a Medieval stew - a yeoman's stew - at some point this winter. Tomorrow I am going to make a Latin American style stew.

It will have onions and garlic and peppers and tomatoes and beef and oregano and perhaps cilantro. It will have salt and pepper. It is going to be a vibrant, intoxicating and outrageous stew. Tomorrow I will tell you all about it.

Tomatoes and dried oregano and sea salt and pepper and chocolate (the latter is not for the stew)
